Richmond's grassroots organizations are doing the daily work of bringing a Just Transition to life. To sustain and grow this work, we offer two complementary funds.
Our Project Support Fund grows community-led projects that move us toward an economy held in community hands. Our Emergency Fund protects community work when the unexpected hits.
A Just Transition gets built by moving resources to the people already doing the work.
Project Support Fund
This grant supports community projects that directly serve Richmond residents and advances a Just Transition of Richmond’s economy.

Emergency Fund
The Emergency Fund bridges sudden financial gaps in grassroots organizing and programming when unforeseen circumstances disrupts the work.
​
This is for Richmond-based community organizations (501c3) and fiscally sponsored groups making a positive change in Richmond.
​
Requests are accepted on a rolling basis.
