LOCAL ACTION IN NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT
Richmond LAND builds community capacity and grassroots power for a just transition, by engaging Richmond residents in the advocacy, planning, and control of community-centered economic development projects & policies that repair the impacts of structural racism in housing and development.
We are creating a culture shift in local community development that is rooted in resident leadership, power-building, and community stewardship. Our model centers our development priorities in the self-determination of residents and communities of color that have been historically and systematically barred from decision-making and wealth-building.
