Richmond Our Power Coalition
The Richmond Our Power Coalition advances a just transition in Richmond to a regenerative, non-extractive economy, democratically governed by frontline community leadership, and grounded in racial justice.
The Richmond Our Power Coalition is a fiscally sponsored project of Urban Tilth. This position will be administrative employee of Urban Tilth and will be accountable to implementing the Richmond Our Power Coalition work plans and priorities.
Communications Organizer
Richmond Our Power Coalition has an immediate opening for a part-time Communications Organizer. The Communications Organizer will work with the Managing Director, Resource Mobilizer and member organizations to share the story of ROPC programs, events, activities, accomplishments, and impact through various communications channels including the organization’s website, quarterly newsletters, social media, videos, and earned media. The Communications Organizer will guide the development and training of messaging for just transition learning materials shared with the community across all member organizations to help ensure cohesion in shared vision.
